It has breeding mechanics as well and they're fully working. It seems you haven't played The Isle for a lot time. There is not a lot to do while roleplaying as dinosaur. In Primal Survival you will be doing exactly the same thing you found boring in The Isle. No one can convince me otherwise on the grounds that they personally have little faith.that's a personal reason, not fact.

You can stay in your negative faithless bubble if you want, but I'm going to continue to say I want it to exist because it looks better than every play as dino game out there already (yes even Saurian) and seeing how awesome Ark already is to me, I think they can make another awesome total conversion. And there are a TON of people I know who are really wanting Primal Survival. They got the makings of something better than the Isle, in my opinion.

Sure there can be plenty of things they can add to it to make it better than just a normal play as dino with breeding. Raising babies as a dino parent sounds awesome since I already enjoy a similar mechanic in Fish: Feed and Grow, and ARK pretty much already got that in the core game, but with MORE creatures. Just adding that alone can bring a lot more to the table then you might think. They already got a much more interesting mechanic in it's core game.breeding. WC can learn a thing or two from it's 'competition' and do it soo much better. All you do is eat, drink, and wait around.or just go kill things. And if you think I consider the Isle to be the peak of playing as a dino, you are wrong. I on the other hand believe they can do more with it and make it awesome. With Ark being finished soon, you never know, they could pick back up many things since they wouldn't have to split their team to work on two different things.ДЄnd ye of little faith. Anything can die if the makers kinda just drop it like a sack of hot potatoes before it even gets a real chance to take off. No matter the reason you think it failed, I still enjoyed it, and would like it back and supported. The only battleroyale game did right is Pubg. In pubg it takes only 30 min max.ДЈ: It requires a lot of knownledge of ARK gameplay mechanics.Д¤: It was really slow paced at the beginning to middle of the round.ДҐ(partially): Constant zone that was centered in one place. So why should it be different? What's more there are other games on the market which fullfill people's desire to play as dinosaur.(The Isle)ДЎ: Developers abandoned it very quickly, thus no support for players.Дў: It requires too much time to play one round. Why I think like that? Because WC did not overhauled any core gameplay mechanics for 2 years. Knowing how lackluster gameplay of ARK is, I don't think Primal Survival will be anything better. Primal Survival, to me, would do waaay better than SOTF (though admittedly SOtF was was a shame it didn't seem to get many players though.I want it back). WC and there 'always be creating' mentality surely can find plenty to work on for that.

I hope they revisit it now that the game is gonna be released very soon. But for now, it's pretty much halted until further notice.sadly. However, Jeremy (or Jat) stated in response to this same question recently, that they will still consider revisiting it in the future. At the moment, it is shelved, in favor of finishing Ark: Survival Evolved.
